Our client, a leader in the automotive industry, is currently seeking a Software Test Engineer.

As the automotive landscape evolves, the competition now includes not only traditional automotive giants but also innovative, fast-moving tech companies. Responsibilities:

• Play a critical role in ensuring that software products meet the highest standards of quality.
• Use testing expertise to coach and guide team members on all aspects of quality from a testing perspective.
• Ensure testability during the design and development stages.
• Write test cases and automate regression tests.
• Conduct manual testing.
• Continuously verify and validate the product, analyze issues to identify root causes, and provide possible solutions.
• Define and document a long-term test strategy.
• Maintain a test plan for each software release to ensure thorough testing before release.

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Software Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Experience in quality assurance of complex embedded systems.
• Familiarity with scripting languages such as Python or Shell.
• Knowledge of tools like CANoe and CANalyzer is an added advantage.
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
• Valid driver’s license (B).
• Experience with automotive and infotainment systems such as instrument clusters, HMI, connectivity, telematics, audio systems, Bluetooth, navigation, speech recognition, and displays.
• Knowledge of systems like Elektra, CarCom, or SystemWeaver is considered a plus.
• Experience in test automation, programming, or model-based development/testing is highly regarded.
