Our client in the automotive industry is currently seeking a UX Designer.

Team Overview

As part of the Driving Experience (DX) Team, the UX Designer is pivotal in designing and delivering the driver information and interaction systems necessary for both current and next-generation vehicles.

Role Description

As a UX Designer, you will:

  • Define features and products within the Core Driving related systems of the car, working closely with assisted and autonomous systems.
  • Deliver design artifacts such as user flows, wireframes, and prototypes that balance aesthetic design with intuitive functionality.
  • Collaborate with other designers to ensure a seamless customer experience across the digital landscape.
  • Communicate designs, ideas, and rationale to the product team, leveraging data and customer insights.
  • Work in collaboration with ART Vehicle Functions, Active Safety (SVA), PKV, ConX development teams, and external partners.
  • Support the ongoing design and future deliveries of the HMI platform, aiding in the creation of unified DX solutions to enhance the OS platform strategy.
  • Implement SAFe agile methodologies in partnership with engineering teams for the design delivery process.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Support the strategy and production work on the next-generation infotainment system with design deliveries in Figma.
  • Collect learnings from implemented solutions to translate them into design requirements, actionable projects, and initiatives for OTAs and future platforms.
  • Assist in preparing and defining strategic workshops aligned with UX goals.
  • Create a Driving Experience blueprint from a user perspective to prioritize short-term and long-term focus areas.

Required Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of experience as a UX designer in a consumer-focused tech company.
  • Versatile skill set including product design, interaction design, research, and prototyping.
  • Strategic thinker with a knack for simplifying user experiences across various touch-points.
  • Experience working in agile environments.
  • Proficiency in Figma and other prototyping tools.
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
  • A degree in Interaction Design or equivalent experience.
