Assignment Description

Our client in the automotive industry is currently seeking an experienced and constantly curious Software Tester who is passionate about testing complex solutions spanning multiple units within the vehicle, as well as developing automated tests for the same. You will utilize your strong technical knowledge and curiosity to define, execute, and report tests to enable the best understanding of the current quality level of their product. You always pay attention to details to secure high quality in your work.

As a Software Tester in our client’s Personalization team within the Infotainment department, you will be part of an agile cross-functional development team that has end-to-end responsibility including design, architecture, documentation, implementation, verification, and validation.

Main Responsibilities:

• Conduct test analysis together with your team.
• Create and document both manual and automated test procedures.
• Plan, execute tests, analyze results, and report issues and anomalies during the entire software development lifecycle.
• Continuously perform regression testing whenever there are new changes to the code.
• Manage test cars and test environments to ensure the system under test is maintained.
• Collaborate with your team as well as other teams and stakeholders.
• Participate in our client’s test community and collaborate with other testers.
• Ensure knowledge of and visualize overall software quality.

Qualifications:

• M.Sc. in Software Engineering or equivalent experience through years of practice.
• Several years of experience in software testing, preferably within the automotive industry.
• Well-familiar with testing methodologies such as exploratory testing and test analysis.
• Proven skills in test automation using tools like the Robot Framework, Python, or a similar language.
• Experience in troubleshooting methodology.
• Driver’s license (B-level) is mandatory.
• Experience with tools such as Canoe is considered meritorious.
• Previous experience with agile ways of working.
