Assignment Description

Our client is currently seeking a Data Analyst to strengthen their Data Delivery function within the Data & Analytics area. In this pivotal role, you will contribute significantly to the success of data product deliveries. As part of one of their agile Data Delivery teams, you will be responsible for developing new and maintaining existing data integrations into their data platform for Finance, Compliance, and Risk. The data platform, a hybrid on-prem and cloud system, is built upon AWS, Informatica, and Oracle technology. You will act as a subject matter expert in all aspects of business requirements, data availability, and data quality for the enterprise data warehouse. Your collaboration with Tech Leads, Data Engineers, Business Intelligence Developers, and Product Owners will be crucial as you develop features through the Agile Release Trains.

Main Responsibilities:

• Solution and Impact Analysis: Define the implementation approach and the validation approach.
• Data Analysis: Analyze data and processes to complete functional and technical data requirements definition (input for data engineers).
• Implementation: Coordinate with data engineers, source systems, other components, and data consumers.
• Validation: Support the coordination and execution of testing activities and mitigating actions.

Qualifications:

• Strong understanding of banking processes and the ability to discuss requirements with business stakeholders.
• Proven experience in working with data analysis and data requirement management.
• Excellent proficiency in mapping and analyzing data.
• Experience in engaging with business stakeholders to understand business processes and related data.
• Ability to transform business requirements into technical specifications for other developers and peers.
• Structured and analytical thinking, with the ability to conceptualize complex technical issues.
• Experience working with Data Warehouses is an added advantage.
• Experience and knowledge of agile frameworks, preferably SAFe.
• Excellent proficiency in SQL to analyze, validate, and sign off on data.

Data analyst – To support our client’s ongoing B2B transformation program. You need to have DA and testing competencies as they will require both from the role, primarily DA along with 2 others but also testing of the reports etc. Location, Nearshore or onsite potentially.
