Assignment Description

Our client in the automotive industry is currently seeking a Local Area Leader. This role is responsible for the successful delivery of product and non-product projects within a specific area. The role ensures that projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet quality standards in line with line fundamentals through planning, tracking, and collaboration with cross-functional teams. Responsibilities include overseeing implementation, securing alignment for new concepts, and maintaining a positive team environment conducive to creativity and innovation.

Responsibilities:

• As the project leader for your area, you are responsible for ensuring that programs and non-product projects led by you are delivered on time, within budget, and according to the required standards.
• Your responsibilities within your area include product verification, equipment, and process management.
• You are responsible for breaking down activities from the Vehicle Project Plan (VPP) and overall project plans.
• You are tasked with developing and maintaining the implementation and installation plan for your area.
• You track time plans, deliverables, and costs to ensure program deliveries meet their targets.
• You work closely with Indus Engineers to ensure the transfer of information between the local Project Manager (PM) and the Indus Engineer.
• You communicate with the Commodity and Strategy & Business Development teams to stay informed about future concepts and solutions that will impact your area.

Qualifications:

• Engineering degree.
• Experience with CAD.
