The Infotainment development at our client comprises numerous agile teams dedicated to creating a world-leading in-car digital experience. They are at the forefront of technology, working in partnership with Google on Android Auto, a system that has garnered international acclaim. To support these forward-looking initiatives, they are seeking a talented hardware developer to enhance their team.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure continuous delivery for our client’s production and aftermarket.
• Compile and confirm acceptance of technical requirements from various stakeholders for development projects.
• Review tests and validation results with suppliers during the development process.
• Collaborate closely with the Product Owner, Engineering Manager, and both internal and external team members.
• Oversee the development at suppliers to meet requirements, time plans, and cost efficiencies.
• Be an integral part of the hardware development team focused on infotainment head units and surrounding interface components, which handle functions like navigation, telephony, vehicle settings, Bluetooth & antenna, Wi-Fi, digital owner’s manual, and smartphone projections.
• Thrive in a creative environment that constantly introduces new functionalities, with a focus on both product and individual development.

Qualifications:

• B.Sc. or M.Sc. degree in Electronics, Computer Science, Automation, Mechanics, or equivalent.
• Relevant experience in managing or owning electronic hardware components for production, including non-electrical domains such as interior, chassis, powertrain, etc.
• Project experience in the automotive industry is highly beneficial.
• Technical project leadership and cross-functional planning ability.
• Basic understanding of electronic infotainment hardware development and software system design.
