Assignment Description

Our client is currently seeking a Test Engineer. In this role, you will contribute to a large-scale testing program using agile methodologies. Responsibilities include performing requirement analysis, designing tests in both structured and BDD formats, executing tests, and managing defects.

This position is part of a team developing a responsive web application, which is one element of a larger program. This program includes a web portal, mobile apps, medical device integrations, a content management system, app configurations, and several other integrations.

Responsibilities:

• Participate in agile ceremonies.
• Analyze requirements.
• Create and execute test cases; manage test data.
• Identify, create, and track defects to closure.
• Maintain traceability.
• Support ad hoc testing requests.
• Proactively identify areas for improvement and enhancement.

Required Qualifications:

• 4+ years of front-end testing experience.
• Degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum of four years of experience as a Test Engineer.
• Proficiency in cross-browser/environment testing.
• Experience with specific tools and processes used in web software testing.
• Knowledge of web standards and technologies, including accessibility compliance.
• Experience in participating and contributing to PI and Sprint planning.
• Skills in Test Case Design, Test Data Management, and Test Execution.
• Proficient in System Testing, System Integration Testing, and Regression Testing.
• Understanding and use of automated testing methods in agile and non-agile environments, such as Cucumber BDD and Selenium.
• Familiarity with Jira, Confluence; ability to manage test statuses in Jira.
• Ability to create test reports for stakeholder visibility on project status.
• Excellent teamwork, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Fluent in English, both spoken and written.
• Self-starter, highly motivated, and embraces challenges.

Desired Qualifications:

• Experience working in a globally distributed team.
• Knowledge of web accessibility testing.
• Understanding of basic CI/CD processes.
• Experience with mobile testing, e.g., Browserstack.
• Proficiency in API testing.
