Assignment Description

Our client in the automotive industry now has a rare job opening for individuals with a true interest in cars, Infotainment, connectivity, and software testing. They are testing new software across all their platforms and models. The office is located in Gothenburg, but much time will be spent on the roads.

Main Responsibilities:

• Perform cross-functional validation—in rig and in vehicle—of the complete infotainment system and its HMI. The focus is on non-functional testing and/or addressing issues that are difficult to detect in less complex environments (than at the domain level).
• Conduct release testing of new software deliveries in vehicles on a weekly basis.
• Provide a weekly summary.
• Write test analysis and test specifications.
• Download the correct software baseline to the car.
• Troubleshoot issues.
• Participate in expeditions in Sweden and Europe.

Required Qualifications:

• You have at least a B.Sc. in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or equivalent experience.
• You have documented experience in the Automotive and Infotainment sectors.
• You have documented experience in software testing.
• You are fluent in English (written and spoken).
• You hold a valid European driver’s license, category B.
• You have a genuine interest in cars and technology in general.
• You view obstacles that occur in the field as challenges.
