Assignment Description

Our client in the automotive industry is currently seeking a Test Engineer. The purpose of our client’s department is to create the best steering system for the customer in terms of Safety, Sustainability, and Steering Feel.

The responsibility for verifying new software in all their vehicles will require high coordination and collaboration skills, along with a deep understanding of the steering system and its impact on the rest of the car.

The software that controls the steering gear is developed by suppliers. In their newer vehicles, they develop more and more functions in-house. The scope for this team is to own the complete testing process, from acceptance testing to domain testing, for all their vehicles and software. This includes writing test cases, running and evaluating them, both manually and automatically. It also includes planning and distributing the work.

Required Qualifications:

• Passion for software with several years of hands-on experience in software development and a desire to develop and continuously improve the quality of the architecture for the steering system according to our client’s procedures.
• M.Sc. in Controls and Mechatronics, Electronics, or Computer Science Engineering, or equivalent.
• Fluent in English (spoken and written) and possess a driving license (B), driving on a regular basis.
• More than 3 years of hands-on experience in the following areas:
