Our client in the automotive industry is currently seeking a Test Object Engineer to join the iCAR – Connected Experience – 95540 team. At Research and Development within Product and Quality, you will be a key contributor to the next generation of outstanding luxury cars. Together with other engineers around the world, you and your team will create innovative human-centric car technology that makes life less complicated and more enjoyable for people.

The iCAR group is responsible for developing, building, and maintaining test objects used by all teams in Connected Experience for software testing and development, including subsystem rigs, automatic HIL rigs, and cars. The Update team is primarily responsible for keeping test objects up-to-date with the latest hardware and software.

Responsibilities:

  • Update cars and bench rigs with the latest developed software.
  • Change hardware (ECU/Node computers) in bench rigs or HILs.
  • Update single nodes.
  • Perform fault tracing.
  • Communicate and collaborate with testers regarding test objects.
  • Plan update activities.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronic, or Computer Engineering, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Valid European driver’s license B.
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken).
