Assignment Description

Our client in the automotive industry is currently seeking a Virtual Testing Environment Development Engineer.

Qualifications:

• Proficiency in programming languages such as LabView, MatLab, Simulink, and Python.
• Experience or knowledge of model-based verification.
• Experience or knowledge of Powertrain simulation, such as vehicle simulations.
• Ability to translate customer requirements into possibilities within the Virtual Test environment and virtual test bench.
• Capability to work as part of a team to understand the bigger picture of tomorrow’s Virtual Product Development and drive efficiency projects within the testing environment.
• Ability to work independently and as part of an agile, energized team for the continuous development of our client’s virtual testing environment.
• Experience with electrical driveline components and applications is considered a merit.

Additional Qualifications:

• Experience with Model Predictive Control.
• Experience with Powertrain software development.
• Experience with SiL/HiL development.

Key Qualifications and Skills:

• Background from Chalmers University or similar educational courses.
• Work experience in automotive engineering, model-based engineering (systems controls and mechatronic engineering, regulation control), data science, computer science, or mechanical engineering.
• A passion for programming and integration to meet virtual testing requirements.
