Assignment description

Our customer is looking for a Backend Developer with extensive skills in Node.js, Golang and DevOps skills (CI/CD, Terraform, GCP) for Customer Returns team to help build their new modern solution which will increase the Customer satisfaction and make a customer returns flow easier for our many customers and co-workers. The company is building a customer self-service returns (parcel, express and truck) and a co-worker returns management solution, while breaking down dependency with an old legacy system. In order to achieve our goal they will collaborate with many other teams. We practice DevOps principles.

Customer Returns teams is a mature engineering team with high psychological safety and well-being factor. Diversity and inclusion are important to us. Everyone’s voice is heard. We have open and humble communication, always make time to help each other and practice pair-programming when needed.

The company is looking for a self-going senior/expert backend engineer, a ”go to guy” for their backend parts. You have to be open-minded, ready to get your hands dirty, take responsibility and be a mentor for the less experienced team mates.

They are looking for increasing their skills in the team within CI/CD area so it’s important to see knowledge sharing as a natural part of your daily work.The company is constantly looking for improvements of their efficiency and productivity, so they expect you to be a main person in addressing pain points and suggesting improvement. They also work closely with other teams within their subdomain and aim to streamline our CI/CD principles. Therefore good communication skills are required.
