Assignment Description

Exciting role as a software developer working on software in C/C++ for active chassis functions. Our client in the automotive industry is currently seeking an Embedded Software Engineer for Base Software and SW Architecture. The Suspension Software and Function teams are cross-functional, working with the full software stack development, developing control algorithms for their functions, and all tool chains needed for their development to achieve the best active chassis functions for their vehicles.

Main Responsibilities:

• Working in their in-house software team that develops software for the suspension system in both Suspension ECU and Central ECU of the vehicle.
• Collaborating closely with other developers, test engineers, system engineers, and safety engineers, and potentially taking on cross-functional tasks depending on the project’s needs.
• Developing application software in C++ and middleware in C.

Qualifications:

• At least 5 years of experience in C++ (11 or 14)
• At least 5 years of experience in C (90 or 99)
• At least 5 years of experience in real-time embedded system development
• Experience in the automotive industry
• Experience working with Autosar
• Knowledge of automotive communication protocols: CAN, Automotive Ethernet
• Knowledge of CDD (Complex Device Driver) development
• Knowledge of UDS (Unified Diagnostic Service)
• Experience working with Vector tools: CANoe, CANalyzer, VTEST
• Knowledge of low-level protocol firmware development: SPI, UART, PWM, DIO, PSI5
• HIL systems and real-time simulation experience
• Knowledge of system safety implementation compliant with ISO 26262
• Familiarity with cybersecurity standards in the automotive industry
• Experience in the automotive industry, especially in the vehicle dynamics arena, is a clear advantage for this role.
