Our client in the automotive industry is currently seeking a Software Responsible – Infotainment Hardware, 95620.

To support this exciting future, they are looking for a software responsible to strengthen their team.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Work with a team responsible for hardware development of infotainment head units and interface components.
  • Manage development at suppliers to ensure requirements and timelines are met while considering cost efficiency.
  • Join the team handling Driver Information Module (DIM) and Vehicle Gateway Module (VGM).
  • Handle development, system safety, and cybersecurity related topics for both DIM and VGM.
  • Perform functional testing of the software developed by suppliers and fault tracing through diagnostics.
  • Continuously secure deliveries for our client’s production and aftermarket.
  • Compile technical requirements from various stakeholders and ensure supplier acceptance of development scope.
  • Review test and validation results with suppliers.
  • Ensure software distribution for internal testing.
  • Document software for release to production and aftermarket in systems like KDP, System Weaver, and secure steps in the quality process.
  • Display vehicle status information (e.g., vehicle speed, fuel level).
  • Control message prioritization for the combined instrument display, graphical head-up display, and infotainment head unit.
  • Use driver workload estimation to determine message priority.
  • Act as a router and security gateway for access to vehicle functions.

Qualifications:

  • B.Sc. or M.Sc. degree in Electronics, Computer Science, Automation, or equivalent.
  • Relevant experience in the automotive industry (diagnostics, software integration, software testing, managing/owning electronic components for production release).
  • Interest in automotive products and components.
  • Strong drive to learn and develop.
  • Fluency in English is mandatory.
