Assignment Description

Our client in the automotive industry is currently seeking a Software Engineer. You will be a key developer and driver within our client’s Tooling Team. They are looking for a hands-on senior developer proficient in Python and CMAKE, focusing on tooling crucial for the development of the software running on the Core Computer. You will design, build, test, and integrate software, aligned with deliverables and deadlines. The software will run on emulators as well as real hardware.

The department at large is working with various areas, including car feature development, software architectural design, software build tools & CI pipelines, and system analyses. The teams work in an agile manner, with great independence, ownership, and trust. They maintain a warm and relaxed atmosphere where you will be an important contributor. Their software will run on emulators, hardware rigs, and ultimately the car itself. You will help build the next generation of our client’s organization.

Required Qualifications:

• 7 years’ experience developing software/tools in a Linux environment.
• 4 years’ experience in Python.
• Experience using GIT/Gerrit.
• A degree in Software Engineering.
• Experience in Agile software development.
• Fluent in English (written and spoken).

Meritorious Qualifications:

• Experience with CMAKE.
• Experience with Bazel.
• Proficiency in C++.
• Experience with ISO26262 and ASIL-compliant development.
• Experience in the automotive industry.
• Familiarity with Zuul and Jenkins.
• Experience with ConfigHub/Artifactory.
