Assignment Description

Our client in the automotive industry is currently seeking a Tester for the Team Switches & WPC.

The Switches & WPC team is looking for a self-driven tester with automotive experience in software/electrical systems. They need someone with a drive to work closely with the team to understand the requirements and secure approved test results. The team collaborates closely with other parts of our client’s organization, including system teams that manage both supplier hardware, software, and in-house development, to meet the specific requirements of the team.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Understand requirements, specifications, and perform testing (bench, rig, HIL, and automated test cases).
  • Possess strong problem-solving skills, especially in real-time and resource-constrained environments.
  • Create test cases from requirements and understand how to test based on these requirements.
  • Ability to create clear and comprehensive technical documentation.
  • Test and debug Switches and Wireless Phone Chargers to ensure reliability and performance.
  • Ensure that the developed components align with the overall strategies and objectives of our client.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in diagnostics and data analytics, preferably in the automotive industry.
  • Experience in debugging low-level platform problems.
  • Good communication skills, with fluency in English (both speech and writing).
  • Educational background or work experience in Software and/or Electrical Engineering.
  • Knowledge of test methodologies (System, Integration, and Component testing).
  • Experience in HIL/BoxCar/Bench testing and Car Testing.
  • Proficiency in Vector/CANoe.
  • Experience with CarWeaver (or equivalent requirement handling system).
  • Familiarity with Elektra (or equivalent signal base system).
  • Proven experience in testing software/electrical components.
