Assignment Description

Our client in the automotive industry is currently seeking a Software Engineer with experience in agile working and product development in the automotive industry. As a software developer, you will define and maintain the software architecture of the product, as well as be responsible for developing and ensuring quality-assured software for the vehicle. You are also expected to stay on top of technological evolution and provide new ideas to continuously improve the product and processes. You should be able to manage tasks independently, drive issues with energy, and report status transparently while managing cross-functional contacts. Your focus will be on software development and ensuring that customers receive the best possible system in terms of functionality and quality.

The team Function & Control is responsible for the development of all seat functions at our client’s organization. They design, develop, and deliver software for both their in-house and supplier control modules.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in software development (C++ or C).
• Experience in QNX is preferred but not mandatory.
• Experience in Embedded Linux Development is preferred but not mandatory.
• Experience in working with Continuous Integration and Automatic testing is preferred but not mandatory.
• Knowledge of automotive industry standard software development practices.
• Knowledge in Google Test or similar.
• Experience in Git and Gerrit or other version control system tools.
• Experience in Matlab Simulink is beneficial.
• Good English skills are mandatory (written and spoken).
