Assignment Description

Our client in the automotive industry is currently seeking a Senior Frontend React Developer for their Digital Finance team, with a focus on the Product Costing area. This area involves the calculation, tracking, and forecasting of all costs incurred when creating a product or service. They are modernizing this area and are now setting up a new product team for a new solution, where you will be one of the team members.

You are a skilled and experienced Senior Frontend Engineer with expertise in React, NextJS, CSS, Jest, TypeScript, yarn workspaces, and other frontend techniques. You can align with common frameworks and standards that already exist. You will work closely with UX designers, business analysts, as well as business and team members.

About the Team

The Product Costing Team is responsible for solutions used for tracking and planning all costs incurred when manufacturing a product or a service. This is part of our client’s financial core, where they build services that provide information for steering and controlling, creating engaging experiences for their end users. Their mission is to provide accurate and timely data for analysis, in order to give management relevant data for decision-making.

A new product team will be set up with competencies in backend, frontend, and testing. Java, React, SQL, and Power BI will be used in a solution that has high demands on data handling for calculations and analyses.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable frontend code (React, CSS, HTML, JavaScript).
• Align the solution with common frameworks and standards at the company.
• Work closely with business and product teams to create user-friendly solutions.
• Drive innovation and initiatives within the team to improve the customer journey in the solution.

Qualifications:

• Proficient in React and CSS, building scalable and reusable front-end components.
• Experience in starting up a new frontend solution from scratch.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, capable of working in a cross-functional team environment and closely with different stakeholders.
