Assignment Description
Our client in the automotive industry is currently seeking a Tech lead.
At Software Factory, they are building a community with highly skilled personnel. They are harmonizing workflows and developing tools to be used across R&D with the aim of accelerating software development for our client. They are responsible for:
- Developing continuous integration (CI) architecture and infrastructure.
- Maintaining the complete software build and CI flow.
- Enabling high utilization of infrastructure, test objects, and test artifacts.
- Creating automated tools and applications to ensure an efficient flow.
- Supporting traceability to fulfill all legal requirements.
- Applying manufacturing principles and techniques to software development to mimic the benefits of traditional manufacturing and create a software product line.
Main Responsibilities
- Drive and organize project events and assist teams in delivering value to the larger solution/system.
- Oversee execution, track feature/capability completion, and report status.
- Champion continuous improvement and drive change throughout the entire solution.
- Work to remove and escalate impediments, manage risk, and ensure the delivery of value.
- Act as a bridge between car program project planning and the development teams delivering the software to their cars.
- Have a clear delivery focus with value of outcome as the main driver.
- Challenge processes and be part of the way forward.
- Assist with decision-making by facilitating feature and capability estimation and tracking by teams.
- Help manage and reduce risks, dependencies, and impediments, including escalation.
- Work with product and solution management, product owners, and other stakeholders to ensure strategy and execution alignment.

- Long experience as a Project Lead in large-sized organizations.

- Prior knowledge of embedded software product development and/or release.
- Fluent in both spoken and written English.
- Experience and interest in software build and CI flow, working in an agile organization following DevOps practices and Scrum.

- Basic knowledge and understanding of CI/CD for embedded systems.
- Experience working as a Release Train Engineer (RTE) in a SAFe setup.
