Assignment Description

Our client is looking for someone with advanced knowledge of frontend development and how it can be applied at scale across multiple digital products. You should be proficient with advanced JavaScript, TypeScript, and React, and have experience working with complex application logic and best practices.

You will support the team in adopting the component library. This involves providing advice to other developers, sharing best practices, and occasionally reviewing and providing feedback on their code. Our client aims to make the components work both now and in the future, so you’ll be adding to and updating the library to meet user needs.

You will join a team of three developers, two designers, and a product owner. They work together to create a Design System and a complementary component library used by other product teams. Although small, the team has a significant impact on our client’s digital products. You are naturally curious and eager to adopt new technologies that enable the cleanest and most maintainable solutions. You are as invested in the product’s impact and the team’s goals as you are in the deliverables.

Main Responsibilities:

• You will be a key resource in the development of the component library.
• You will collaborate closely with other team members and work in pair programming.
• You will help make decisions about how our client structures their code and how they can work most efficiently.
• You will frequently collaborate with developers across our client’s organization to guide, support, and share best practices.
• You will have a desire to learn about and share emerging trends.

Requirements:

• Five+ years (or equivalent) of experience in front-end development.
• Solid experience in JavaScript (browser + Node.js), TypeScript, and React, with some knowledge of native Web Components.
• Good understanding of working with distributed products (npm, Vite, Rollup, Node.js).
• Comfortable talking to and helping developers from different teams, as well as giving demos/presentations (in Swedish and English).
• Communicative and interested in building a product community of front-end developers.
• Experience in making architectural decisions within Front-end / Fullstack development.
• Fluent in Swedish and English.
