Assignment Description
Our client in the automotive industry is currently seeking a Senior Software Responsible for Deceleration.
The Deceleration department is a part of the Vehicle Platform and is responsible for vehicle braking, developing solutions for both conventional and AD-controlled vehicles. They are expanding in-house development to include today’s supplier-developed software solutions and researching future systems for their portfolio, such as brake-by-wire and redundant systems. They work with platform solutions, striving to lead and shape the development of future platforms.

Main Responsibilities:
- Utilize strong software background to oversee and manage software-related tasks and projects.
- Verify functionality independently and in teams in vehicles, rigs, and lab environments.
- Coordinate and execute software releases, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery of software components.
- Act as the main point of contact and responsible person between internal teams and external suppliers.
- Manage and maintain effective relationships with suppliers, including software requirement specification (SWRS) management.
- Develop and execute the software release plan, as well as coordinate verification and validation (V&V) activities.
- Ensure the quality, safety, and compliance of the component throughout the development process.
- Review and provide support to suppliers regarding necessary documentation.
- Create the next generation systems for brakes.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of relevant experience in software development and management.
- Strong knowledge of brake systems is an advantage.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Familiarity with automotive industry standards and regulations is a plus.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with Vector tools, CANoe.
- Knowledge of functional safety (ISO 26262) and A-SPICE.
- Experience with vehicle diagnostics (UDS), CAN/CAN-FD.
- Driving license is beneficial.
