Assignment Description

Our client in the automotive industry is currently seeking a Data Engineer.

Qualifications:

•  Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• You have 5+ years of experience in data engineering, with a strong understanding of ETL processes, data warehousing, and big data technologies.
• Strong competence in programming languages such as Python.
• Experience working in Unix/Linux environments and with shell scripting.
• Knowledge of software development workflows (GitLab, Gerrit, and Jenkins) and containerization technologies such as Kubernetes and PBS.
• Basic experience in database systems, preferably in relational databases, SQL, and NoSQL.
• Experience with data engineering tools and platforms like Apache Spark and Hadoop.
• Experience in system development with cloud systems like AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Experience with Airflow is considered meritorious.
