Assignment Description

Our client in the automotive industry is currently seeking an Android SW developer and tester specializing in Voice User Interfaces & Audio. They are looking for a motivated, curious, and quality-conscious team player to join their team focused on voice assistants both inside and outside the car, as well as audio systems.

Our client offers you the opportunity to work in a small, cross-functional team with a high focus on quality and continuous improvements. Together with your colleagues, you will engage in a variety of stimulating tasks such as testing the Google Assistant, improving their automated test framework for voice interaction, testing the audio chain, and preparing for Continuous Integration (CI). They are also involved in testing and troubleshooting in real vehicles, providing interesting real-life insights into their products.

Required Qualifications:

• You have an M.Sc. or a B.Sc. in Electronics, Software Engineering, or a similar field, and 3 years of relevant work experience in software development with languages such as Python, C++, Java, etc.
• You have experience in Android platform development, Continuous Integration, and are familiar with Agile methods.
• You possess strong English skills, both written and spoken, and have a valid driver’s license, class B.

Meritorious:

• Experience in development on Android Automotive.
• Experience in Automotive Infotainment.
• Experience working with Audio Input or Voice Assistants.
