Our client in the automotive industry is currently seeking a Tester in embedded systems.

Main Responsibilities:

  • You will take an active part in defining the Test Strategy, Test Plans, Test Methods, Test Execution, and Test Automation to be included in the Continuous Integration.
  • Analyze logs e.g., DSA, Vector CANoe, and contribute to fault reports. Interaction with those who have implemented the software, whether colleagues in the nearby team or external suppliers, is needed to gain information about implementation and test results as well as review documentation.
  • You will utilize Test vehicles, HIL (Hardware-In-the-Loop), or test bench setups depending on which test environments are most suited for previous, current, and future projects.
  • You will be primarily responsible for following up on customer/field issues reported, analyzing them, and driving them towards resolution for all previous car programs already on the market.

Required Qualifications:

  • You have at least 5 years of experience as a tester in Embedded Systems.
  • Knowledge and experience in CAN, CAN FD, LIN protocols, and Vector tool chain for Test and Verification.
  • Knowledge about Test/Verification Process and Methodologies.
  • Knowledge about System Safety standard ISO 26262 and Cybersecurity standard ISO 21434.
  • Experience in Python/CAPL scripting for automating tests and building Bench setup/HIL.
  • Driving license (B).
  • Fluent in English (both written and spoken).

Good To Have:

  • Experience in analyzing diagnostic events and services.
  • Knowledge of AUTOSAR diagnostic modules and bootloaders.
  • Team player with problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge and understanding of simple electronics/electrical HW circuits.
  • Vehicle networking, e.g., CAN, CAN FD, LIN, etc.
