Assignment description 

The Network Architect will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining secure and scalable network solutions for our organization. This role will require a strong understanding of Microsoft Azure and associated technologies.

Missions & activities:

• Design, deploy and maintain network infrastructure to support business operations and future growth.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify network requirements and design solutions that align with business needs.
• Provide technical guidance and leadership to team members and stakeholders.
• Ensure network security and compliance with industry standards.
• Manage and troubleshoot network issues, providing timely resolutions to minimize impact to business operations.
• Develop network policies, procedures, and standards to ensure optimal network performance and reliability.
• Evaluate new network technologies and tools, recommending changes and upgrades to enhance network capabilities.

Proficiencies required: 

• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Azure, including networking, virtualization, and security. • In-depth knowledge of network protocols, hardware, and software, including TCP/IP, routing, switching, firewalls, load balancers, and VPNs.
• Experience with network monitoring and analysis tools, such as Wireshark, SolarWinds, and Nagios.
• Familiarity with scripting languages, such as PowerShell and Python, for network automation and orchestration.
• Understanding of cloud technologies, such as AWS and Google Cloud Platform, is a plus.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience as a network architect, engineer, or similar role.
• Certifications such as CCIE, CCNA, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, or Azure Network Engineer Associate are preferred.
