Assignment Description

For our client, we are currently seeking a Senior Automation Engineer. In this role, you will be an important member of a central development team with global responsibility. Your task will involve development in close cooperation with suppliers, manufacturing units, and product development, challenging existing concepts within manufacturing.

Main Responsibilities:

• Develop, verify, and implement PLC/MES solutions in new as well as existing equipment.
• Develop standardized solutions to be reused in future implementations.
• Report to an Operations Development Manager.
• Travel to sites for several weeks during the autumn.
• Work a minimum hybrid schedule, with on-site preferred.

Requirements:

• Technical degree in Automation, Electrical Engineering, or a similar field.
• Strong technical background.
• At least 5-7 years of relevant experience in manufacturing industries.
• Good understanding of system design, automation technologies, and commissioning of equipment.

Competence:

• PLC Beckhoff – required.
• PLC Rockwell and/or Siemens – advantage.
• HMI Aveva – advantage.
