Our client in the automotive industry is currently seeking a Senior Test Developer skilled in automation testing and fault tracing.

Our client is on an ambitious journey to redefine what it means to own a vehicle during one of the most innovative times in the transport industry. Basetech Test & Integration

They are a system team working with software testing and test environment development. Their team mainly focuses on complete system testing, but they are also involved in lower levels of testing. They work with both manual testing, fault tracing, and test automation. Their team is cross-functional, meaning they handle test design, test planning, infrastructure development, test automation, and defect handling within the same Scrum team. The team consists of both senior and junior testers. Their technology roadmap is exciting, and you will be part of an amazing journey as they scale up with new functionality such as machine learning.

Main Responsibilities:

• As a test developer, you are a member of a tight agile development team.
• Work with automation testing and fault tracing.
• Hands-on involvement with test automation and the rigs.
• Opportunity to work on new platforms and see the whole system behavior.
• The main competencies in the team are testing in general and Basetech concepts (network management, diagnosis concepts, software download).
• Tools used in the cross-functional team include Jenkins, Git, Gerrit, CAPL, Robot Framework, CANoe, vTest Studio.

Qualifications:

• Good test mindset in general
• Experience with automation testing
• Familiarity with Git, Gerrit, Python, CAPL/C
• Experience in testing and fault tracing in vehicle testing
• Good programming skills in general
