Our client in the automotive industry is currently seeking a Cloud Software Application Developer with a DevOps Mindset – Software Digital, Car Cloud Platform.

ART Car Cloud Platform is situated within the Department of Software Digital in Engineering. Their vision is to provide a secure and global connected experience for car cloud services. They achieve this by enabling world-class cloud services to contribute to the overall connected experience.

They build, provide, and operate a highly secure run-time ecosystem for functions and applications serving the connected car and its users. They aim to optimize functional and organic growth by utilizing standard cloud technologies with a high level of synergies and re-use. With their car cloud solution, they provide cloud infrastructure, platform services, and core components to support development and DevOps by providing tools for fast feedback and built-in quality.

Main Responsibilities:

• Be part of an empowered agile DevOps team that strives for continuous learning and improvements.
• Define, build, test, deploy, maintain, and operate highly secure applications serving connected cars and their users within the product area of Position & Map Services.
• Collaborate with your Product Owner to ensure the right functionality is being developed and estimate the size and complexity of the work to plan upcoming sprints.
• Determine and maintain the technical design in your area within the given architectural guidelines.
• Work with modern tools, microservices-oriented architecture, and new technologies.
• Learn from your peers, influence how the team works, and develop great solutions.
• Work in the office in Lindholmen with a hybrid setup including teams and colleagues worldwide, spanning from Gothenburg & Lund in Sweden to Europe, the US, and China.

Qualifications:

• At least 5 years of experience with Java development.
• BSc degree or higher in computer science or equivalent.
• Experience with Spring-framework, DevOps, test automation, and system monitoring.
• Familiarity with technologies such as Kubernetes, Kafka, PostgreSQL, REST/gRPC, and JMS/AMQP.
• Previous experience in handling car-related information to the cloud, cars, mobile apps, and partners is highly valued.
• Understanding of agile development methodology principles (e.g., Scaled Agile, Scrum, Lean, Kanban) and experience working in product teams.
• Fluent in English.
