Assignment Description

We are seeking an Experienced Cloud Application Developer to join our client’s dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in developing and maintaining cloud-based applications using AWS services, including Lambda, API Gateway, Transfer Family, S3, DynamoDB, etc. This role requires a strong background in building robust back-end systems with Java Spring Boot and Python, as well as experience in implementing data streaming solutions with Kafka. Proficiency with the Serverless Framework, AWS CloudFormation and / or AWS SAM is essential. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with cross- functional teams to ensure seamless integration, deployment, and monitoring of cloud applications, while adhering to best practices for cloud architecture.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain cloud-based applications leveraging AWS services such as AWS Lambda Functions, Event Bridge, Transfer Family, Kafka, DynamoDB, Secrets Manager, IAM, Parameter Store, S3 bucket, and SFTP.
• Develop robust and scalable code using Python, scripting languages, and SpringBoot Java.
• Implement and manage APIs using AWS API Gateway.
• Configure and optimize content delivery through CloudFront.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate cloud solutions with existing
  systems.
• Ensure security best practices are followed, including proper IAM configuration and
  secrets management.
• Automate deployment processes using tools like Jenkins and GitHub Actions.
• Deploy and manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Set up and manage EKS (Amazon Elastic Kubernetes Service) clusters for container
  orchestration.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to networking in AWS environments.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Proven experience developing cloud-based applications using AWS services.
• Proficiency in Python and Java, with experience in SpringBoot.
• Strong understanding of networking concepts in AWS.
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and GitHub Actions.
• Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes for containerization and orchestration.
• Experience setting up and managing EKS clusters.
• Knowledge of cloud security principles and best practices.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
