Assignment Description:

Our client in the automotive industry is currently seeking a Software Developer. As a Software Developer, you play an important role in realizing the interior illumination for our client’s future. The product team is responsible for developing and quality assuring the functionality of interior lighting and switch and display illumination. The team collaborates with a wide variety of stakeholders to find the best solutions, and you will work closely with other Software Developers, Test Engineers, and System Design Engineers to deliver an excellent interior illumination experience to the end customer.

Main Responsibilities:

• Be part of a product team in Interior Lighting developing technical solutions according to agile principles and our client’s Engineering Collaboration Framework.
• Work in an international environment in close cooperation with Software System Design, CAE/testing, Hardware Design, test facilities, and external suppliers.
• Focus on MATLAB/Simulink development, analysis, and implementation of software requirements.
• Design and execute unit testing.
• Contribute to advanced engineering projects or concept investigations to support the development of new technology introductions.

Qualifications:

• B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Electronics, Software, Mechatronics, or equivalent education.
• Experience with Simulation and Model-Based Design using MATLAB/Simulink.
• Experience in developing software algorithms and specifications.
• Experience in Unit testing, MIL, or SIL testing.
• Knowledge in AUTOSAR.
• Fluent in English (written and spoken).
• B driving license.
• Programming skills in C, C++, and Python (meritorious).
• Knowledge in Automotive Functional Safety Standard ISO26262 (meritorious).
