About the role:
The consultant will be responsible for the whole Life group monthly reporting to the client according to IFRS. The consultant will also be holding up the position of the superuser in the consolidation and reporting system; FCCS (Orcle EPM cloud solution).
The client are looking for a consultant with extensive experience in group accounting and group reporting of groups. The client are looking for someone who has served as a group controller at the top level of a corporation. You will be solely responsible for the group reporting and you will also take on the role of super-user of our group reporting system.

What the consultant will be working on:

• Responsible for group reporting to the client in collaboration with the rest of the team
• Analyze and ensure the quality of the group reporting
• Document existing processes and routines
• Participate in project activities related to the client’s implementation from a Life perspective
• Participate in further developing system support and processes

Requirements:

• Oracle EPM and its consolidation system FCCS. Experience with this system or with HFM, which is the underlying system solution for the cloud-based FCCS, is advantageous.
• Experience in group accounting
• Has previously served as a -user and enjoys sharing knowledge with others
• Reporting according to IFRS standards
• Previous experience in accounting and reporting for insurance or banking
• Experience in group reporting within a large organization with various reporting requirements
• It is very important that you have a strong interest in group reporting systems and that you have the ability and interest to learn a new system
• Knowledge of acquisition eliminations
• Internal reconciliation issues and handling large transactions with many discrepancies
• Group reporting systems and their functionality
• The consolidation process and its management
• Communication with subsidiaries
• Review of the figures reported by subsidiaries
• It is very important that you are a self-motivated person who can solve problems.
