Assignment Description

Our client in the automotive industry is currently seeking a talented and driven Development Engineer to join their Exterior Vision team, specializing in camera systems. In this role, you will play a crucial part in system design and ensure that stakeholder and internal requirements are met to support the camera perception stack. You will also be instrumental in verifying and enhancing the capabilities of their exterior camera data providers at component, system, and vehicle levels.

Main Responsibilities:

• Product Verification: Conduct comprehensive verification of the exterior camera data provider’s capabilities at various levels, including component, system, and in-vehicle.
• Test Management & Maintenance: Develop, implement, and maintain testing procedures to ensure the highest quality and performance of their camera systems.
• Requirements Understanding: Gather and analyze stakeholder and internal requirements for the camera platform, ensuring they are integrated effectively into the perception stack.
• System Development Insight: Maintain a comprehensive understanding of the entire system development process and ensure coherence across different components and systems. Document and report product status.

Qualifications:

• Degree is not relevant if you are able to demonstrate your driven personality and technical competency.
• Hold a European B driving license.

Additional Qualifications:

• Experience in the automotive industry.
• Familiarity with system designing tools (Carweaver, DOORS, TeamCenter, Carcom, etc.).
• Proficiency with verification tools (DSA, DLT, Prompt Command, Git, WinSCP, etc.).
