Role/Assignment Overview

Join our client’s team as a Project Manager for CIR (Cloud Infrastructure Readiness), where you will lead the coordination of the development of technical capabilities, platforms, and processes within IT.
CIR coordinates multiple IT domains to implement technical capabilities, platforms, and processes to support application development and cloud operations. The role involves enabling the Multi-Cloud Strategy and building core functionalities for cloud environments. CIR also coordinates the development and delivery of essential tools and expertise for integrating various SaaS solutions into the infrastructure. Additionally, CIR develops and delivers training, procedures, and operational models to ensure effective governance, maintenance, and service delivery. This comprehensive approach ensures the efficient consumption and management of managed cloud services.

You will be working with multiple tribes and teams responsible for delivering common solutions for a cloud environment. The overall target is divided into several capability areas where different sub-streams are responsible to drive the progress. Some teams and tribes are mature, while others are just taking their first steps towards the goal.
Your responsibilities will include driving the program as a project manager, ensuring tight collaboration with sub-stream drivers, the parent Cloud Transformation Initiative program management, and foremost with our stakeholders.

Create and Maintain Project Plan:

Facilitate collaboration and lead the Substream Leaders:

  • Overall Activities: Document and monitor structural and supportive activities.
  • Clear Progression: Ensure a clear transition from disorganization to structure and progress.
  • Distributed Ownership: Clarify responsibilities for deliverables and follow-up.
  • Close Collaboration: Establish a productive collaboration and facilitate progress and alignment within streams, tribes, and teams.
  • Timelines: Prevent delays through proactive engagement with substream leaders and steering committee.
  • Ensure progress and delivery through agile way of working.

Manage Meetings and Communication:

  • Constructive Meetings: Foster a positive and productive meeting environment that is efficient.
  •  Clear Communication: Prevent confusion and frustration by presenting clear messages and structured materials.
  •  Status Reporting: Report progress, challenges, and resource conflicts in a timely manner with proactive suggestions for solutions.

Roadmaps and Deliverables:

  • Clear Roadmaps: Compile roadmaps that show upcoming and completed deliverables.
  • Purpose built overview: Ensure roadmaps suited to match our stakeholders need as well as delivery teams’ way of working.
  • Highlight Challenges: Document and communicate any potential challenges.

Structure and Overview of Use-Cases:

  • Timelines and Requirements: Create an overview of use-cases, their timelines, and requirements.
  • Follow-Up: Implement a structured follow-up on use-cases and their progress.

Requirements:

  • You to have the seniority, drive, and structure to navigate your way independently to ensure progress and success for this essential part of the Cloud Journey.
  • Proven skill to drive major programs from conceptual level to successful implementation.
  • Handle both high level management and technical development teams including managing conflict of interests.
  • Ability to package and present complex matters to make it understandable and realizable.
  • Highly structured and able to set robust structures that simplify overview, collaboration, and support progress towards the goal.
  • Change leadership skills and experience in working with agile development methods.
  • Competence and experience of working with traditional infrastructural IT and Cloud based IT, preferably Cloud transformation.
  • Experience in the banking sector or worked within regulatory enterprises and compliance governance.
  • Experience in working in larger enterprises.
