Our client’s Green Propulsion and Thermal Management team in the automotive industry is currently seeking an experienced Verification Engineer with knowledge in mechatronics to facilitate their transformation into a software-driven organization. Green Propulsion and Thermal Management are increasingly important areas for our client as they strive to become a leader in Electrification.

You will belong to the group CAE & Verification. They work in virtual, rig, and vehicle environments and are responsible for system, function, and software dimension. They use Vector HIL both for component software testing and integrated into the actual thermal system in a rig environment. They use rig testing to understand component and system behavior and vehicle testing for final system and function verification of the Thermal Management system. Your role will be to work in rig and vehicle testing within Thermal Management.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Work in rig and vehicle testing within Thermal Management
  • Use Vector HIL for component software testing and integration into the actual thermal system
  • Conduct rig testing to understand component and system behavior
  • Perform vehicle testing for final system and function verification of the Thermal Management system
  • Script automation for running rigs and postprocessing results

Qualifications:

  • BSc or MSc in mechanical, mechatronic, electrical, or electronics
  • 3-8 years of relevant work experience
  • Solid experience in rig and vehicle testing, preferably using INCA and CANOE
  • Good scripting knowledge in Python for automation purposes
  • Experience in software development and system design within the automotive industry (meritorious)
  • Experience with Simulink, Target Link, DSA (meritorious)
  • Understanding of Continuous Integration tools such as GIT, Gerrit, and SVN (meritorious)
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken)
  • Driving license B (mandatory)
  • Driving license BE and T2/T3 (meritorious)
