Our client in the automotive industry is currently seeking a Senior Software & Data Analysis Engineer specializing in Software Download.

• Responsibility for designing and verifying generic Software Download technologies within our client’s organization.
• Integration within the agile release train Base Technology Solutions (BTS), which supports all electronic control units in the entire electrical system.

Main Responsibilities:

• Get inspired by our client’s mission to provide their customers with a better car experience every day.
• Use your deep knowledge to test and enhance the SWDL technologies in the vehicle and surrounding systems.

Your main responsibilities, together with the team, include:

• Working with SWDL system testing activities and test automation, including updating test cases, methods, strategies, tools, and processes.
• Sharing knowledge with implementation teams, suppliers, verification teams, manufacturing engineering, aftermarket, and the IT department.
• Supporting the SWDL technology development for the complete SWDL system and electronic control units (ECU) regarding both software and hardware.

Qualifications:

• M.Sc. or B.Sc. degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent.
• Experienced with agile development and familiar with software development best practices.
• Knowledge of Vector CAPL script (C-based programming).
• Experience in software development (Python) for enabling automation.
• Experience with automated software testing/Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery.
• Knowledge of distributed electrical systems and electrical architecture.
• Experience with test tools such as Wireshark and Canalyzer/CANoe.

Preferred Skills and Qualifications:

• ISTQB Certification.
• Experience in SWDL/bootloader development, diagnostics, and Ethernet communication.
• Experience with VIDA and VCATS tools.
• Hands-on knowledge about writing automated test cases on higher test levels.
• Experience in embedded software development (C++).
• Basic knowledge in base tech areas: Diagnostics, SWDL, OTA, NM, Network Communications.
• Swedish driver’s license (B).
• Experience with Zuul CI tool.
