Our client in the automotive industry is currently seeking a Senior Software & Data Analysis Engineer specializing in Software Download.

What They Offer:
- Membership in an agile development team with great team spirit, the Software Download (SWDL) team.
- Responsibility for designing and verifying generic Software Download technologies within our client’s organization.
- Integration within the agile release train Base Technology Solutions (BTS), which supports all electronic control units in the entire electrical system.
- Working according to the SAFe framework with 12-week program increments.
Main Responsibilities:
- Get inspired by our client’s mission to provide their customers with a better car experience every day.
- Use your deep knowledge to test and enhance the SWDL technologies in the vehicle and surrounding systems.
Your main responsibilities, together with the team, include:
- Working with SWDL system testing activities and test automation, including updating test cases, methods, strategies, tools, and processes.
- Sharing knowledge with implementation teams, suppliers, verification teams, manufacturing engineering, aftermarket, and the IT department.
- Supporting the SWDL technology development for the complete SWDL system and electronic control units (ECU) regarding both software and hardware.
Qualifications:
- M.Sc. or B.Sc. degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent.
- Experienced with agile development and familiar with software development best practices.
- Knowledge of Vector CAPL script (C-based programming).
- Experience in software development (Python) for enabling automation.
- Experience with automated software testing/Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery.
- Knowledge of distributed electrical systems and electrical architecture.
- Experience with test tools such as Wireshark and Canalyzer/CANoe.
Preferred Skills and Qualifications:
- ISTQB Certification.
- Experience in SWDL/bootloader development, diagnostics, and Ethernet communication.
- Experience with VIDA and VCATS tools.
- Hands-on knowledge about writing automated test cases on higher test levels.
- Experience in embedded software development (C++).
- Basic knowledge in base tech areas: Diagnostics, SWDL, OTA, NM, Network Communications.
- Swedish driver’s license (B).
- Experience with Zuul CI tool.
