Assignment Description

Our client in the automotive industry is currently seeking a Software Developer/Tester.

You will become a member of an agile development team with great team spirit, the Comwired Application team. The team is responsible for designing and verifying Time Synchronization technologies. As part of this team, you will have access to long-term development opportunities in a dynamic and continuously growing field. The Comwired team is part of the agile release train Common Base Technology (CBT), which forms the foundation for all electronic control units in the entire electrical system. The team operates according to the SAFe framework with 12-week program increments.

Main Responsibilities:

• Develop software and technology within the team, focusing on Time Synchronization and Wired Communication technologies.
• Support the Comwired solution from deployment.
• Cooperate and share knowledge with the CI testing team, verification teams, and other departments within the company.
• Enhance test automation for Wired Communication technologies.
• Provide ideas for continuous improvement of the product and processes.

Qualifications:

• M.Sc or B.Sc. degree in Software Development, Software Engineering, or equivalent.
• Experience in software development (C/Python/C++).
• Experience with automated testing, Continuous Integration (CI), and Continuous Delivery (CD).
• Knowledge of distributed electrical systems and electrical architecture.
• Experience in architecture and systemization of software development.
• Excellent communication skills in English, both spoken and written, as you will be working in a highly distributed environment.
• Experience with agile software development and familiarity with software development best practices.

Preferred Skills and Qualifications:

• Experience with test tools such as GIT, Gerrit, Wireshark, CANalyzer, CANoe, Android/Linux tools, and web services/protocols.
• Basic knowledge in base tech areas: AUTOSAR, Network Management (NM), Network Communications, IP, Time Synchronization.
• Swedish driver’s license (B).
