Assignment Description

Our client in the automotive industry is currently seeking a Software Engineer with a focus on Cyber Security. This assignment is focused on Cyber Security, and you must possess extensive knowledge and experience in this area.

Main Responsibilities:

• Develop and continuously improve the quality of the steering system.
• Follow the technical/logical plan for the competence area.
• Collaborate with system architects, principal engineers, and the attribute team to draw up specifications and requirements for the component, and communicate them to potential suppliers with proper documentation.
• Work closely with:
  • Attribute leaders (safety, vehicle dynamics, etc.)
  • Manufacturing teams
  • External suppliers
  • Other relevant stakeholders
• Define test plans, perform acceptance and integration tests, and review test results.
• Ensure work is delivered according to specified acceptance criteria and definitions.

Required Qualifications:

• M.Sc. in Controls and Mechatronics, Electrical, or Computer Science Engineering or equivalent.
• Fluency in English (spoken and written).
• A valid B driver’s license and regular driving experience.
• More than 5 years of hands-on experience in:
  • Engineering documentation (Requirements)
  • Software Quality Assurance
  • Project Management
  • Supplier Management
  • FMEA (Failure Modes and Effects Analysis)
  • System Safety
  • Cybersecurity
