Assignment Description

Our client in the automotive industry is currently seeking a Commercial Business Controller with system expertise.

The role involves supporting the Commercial Finance team in conducting regular financial analysis and enhancing reporting quality. You will identify and set requirements for digital teams to improve systems such as consolidation systems, budget systems, ERPs, and Qlik/Power BI. Additionally, you will leverage financial data to provide actionable insights and continuously improve reporting and analysis processes.

Main Responsibilities:

• Financial Analysis and Reporting: Conduct regular financial analysis and improve the quality of processes and reporting.
• System Improvement: Identify and set requirements for digital teams to improve and develop the system landscape, including consolidation systems, budget systems, ERPs, and Qlik/Power BI.
• Data-Driven Insights: Leverage financial data to provide actionable insights for business growth and performance improvement.
• Process Enhancement: Continuously improve reporting processes, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and alignment with organizational goals.
• Business Partnering: Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams (especially digital teams, local markets, accounting, and other controlling teams) to provide financial insights and support business growth.

Competence Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in financial analysis, controlling, or similar roles.
• Experience in Car OEM headquarters positions.
• Proficiency in financial modeling, Excel, and ERP systems.
• Interest in systems such as Power BI and Qlik, as well as creating custom Excel models.
• Understanding of how to drive a performance culture within an organization.
• Knowledge of steering models and market controlling.
