Assignment Description

Our client in the automotive industry is currently seeking a Software Engineer.

Main Responsibilities:

• Monitor the CI environment and ensure the stability and functionality of various build pipelines.
• Develop and enhance the CI environment, focusing on automation for tasks such as building, testing, packaging, and releasing software.
• Support developers by debugging and analyzing problems in the CI system.
• Contribute to maintaining a fast and agile development environment by providing effective CI system support to development teams.

Qualifications:

• Keen interest in DevOps practices within modern software development.
• Experience in securing stable development environments and building integration environments that facilitate fast feedback loops for developers.
• Solid knowledge of CI/CD systems, with required expertise in Git, Jenkins, and Gerrit.
• Competence in Python and Docker, and experience working with cloud-based solutions.
• Experience in analyzing, troubleshooting, and debugging complex software build systems, including compilation and test logs as well as system logs on build machines.
• Interest in automating tasks to improve efficiency.
