Assignment Description

Our client in the automotive industry is currently seeking a Design Engineer with experience in harness design to join their team. The design engineers are responsible for their wire harness designs from the concept phase to the final product (build to print).

The EDS team (94145) is responsible for several different low-voltage harnesses within the Engine Bay, Underbody, and Power Pack areas.

Main Responsibilities:

• Work closely with suppliers and internal stakeholders, including manufacturing engineers, mechanical integration, electrical design teams, and attribute engineers.
• Collaborate with internal teams within the department to ensure the successful development of wire harness designs.
• Manage change management processes related to harness design.
