Assignment Description

Our client in the automotive industry is currently seeking a Group Design Leader. They are a group of engineers with a lot of energy and great collaboration, working together to deliver overhead consoles and reading lamps, including technology to detect people inside the car.

The Roof Zone Module group is part of the Interior Trim & Systems department, consisting of approximately 130 engineers organized into teams developing components and functions within the following areas: Internal Perception, Interior Lighting, Acoustics & Floor, Compartment Trim & Overhead System, Accessories & Special Vehicles, and Roof Zone Module.

Main Responsibilities:

• Work in a team together with other GDL/Project Managers and HW designers to deliver several functions integrated into the overhead console and reading lamps.
• Lead the development of the overhead console for the SPA platform.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and suppliers to realize functionalities and ensure product quality.

Qualifications:

• B.Sc. or M.Sc. degree in Mechanical/Electronics Engineering or equivalent relevant experience.
• At least 3 years of experience as a Project Leader or Design Engineer.
• Ability to build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external suppliers.
• Capacity to drive multiple issues simultaneously and work in a structured manner.
