Assignment Description

Our client is currently seeking a Senior Solution Architect to join their Study Life Cycle Tooling (Study LC Tooling) engineering tribe.

The Study LC Tooling tribe is responsible for developing customer-facing tools that are integral to delivering solutions to customers and users. The tribe consists of approximately 50 engineers and operates in a global environment, adhering to DevOps and Agile principles, while following GCP quality standards.

As a Solution Architect for Study Life Cycle Tooling, you will play a crucial role in shaping the technical design and plans in alignment with the Customer Delivery Tooling Strategy. Your focus will be on reducing the overall effort required to deliver studies in Unify and enhancing the competitive differentiation in customer experience. This includes integrating existing tools into a cohesive workspace and establishing the technical foundations for end-to-end study life cycle tooling. The role requires extensive collaboration with business stakeholders and engineering teams both within and outside the tribe.

Overview of Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain the overall architecture and design of the Study LC Tooling, ensuring alignment with business goals and technical standards.
• Assess and select appropriate technologies, tools, and frameworks to meet project objectives.
• Work closely with business stakeholders, product owners, and technical teams to gather requirements, understand business objectives, and translate them into technical solutions.
• Create and maintain architectural and design documentation.
• Provide technical guidance and leadership to development teams, ensuring adherence to best practices in coding, design, and testing.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and internal policies.
• Advocate for and lead initiatives that drive continuous improvement in architecture, processes, and technologies.
• Collaborate closely with the tribe lead, delivery manager, technical product owner, and other engineering teams within the organization.

Required Qualifications:

• Technical degree with significant proven experience as a Senior Solution Architect in a complex, regulated multinational environment.
• Strong experience working in a global organization with geographically dispersed project teams and stakeholders.
• Understanding of how technology aligns with and drives business strategy, with the ability to foresee future needs and trends.
• Background as a software developer with a solid understanding of the software development lifecycle.
