Assignment Description

Our client is currently seeking two experienced Senior Backend Developers to join their team. The ideal candidates will have a strong background in backend development, with a focus on Node.js technologies, and a passion for delivering high-quality solutions. The team develops tools to simplify onboarding new customers and studies into the platform. These tools are used for testing, configuration, and automating documentation.

About the Team

The team consists of 8 developers, 2 testers, and a Product Owner. You will work closely with several other teams within our client’s organization, with everyone contributing to the development of a new platform for clinical studies.

You will be part of a digital product development and engineering organization that includes many cross-functional teams, all equipped with the people, skills, and resources necessary to deliver their part of the product. The teams work closely with health professionals and patients across the company in various roles.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Software Development, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in software development.
• Strong experience in backend development with Node.js.
• Proficiency in TypeScript.
• Experience with version control using GIT.
• Familiarity with pipelines and workflows.
• Experience with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS.
• Proficiency in Docker.
• Understanding of Agile principles and ways of working.
• Strong social and communication skills.

Additional Qualifications:

• Experience with Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with Monorepo.
• Experience with Hapi/Express.
• Knowledge of React & React Native.
