Assignment Description

We are seeking a pragmatic and hands-on expert in Functional Safety to assist our client in interpreting and implementing safety requirements for their products over the next few months. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring that all risks in their development processes are thoroughly considered and that their solutions meet the necessary safety standards.

Main Responsibilities:

• Review and interpret safety requirements according to applicable regulations, particularly the Machinery Regulation.
• Ensure that their products meet all functional safety requirements.
• Collaborate closely with their current team and provide expertise in electronics and/or firmware.
• Defend their technical solutions and ensure that all risks are correctly identified and addressed.

Qualifications:

• Extensive experience in Functional Safety with strong knowledge of regulations and standards for industrial products and control systems.
• Practical experience working with electronics and/or firmware.
