Assignment Description

Our client in the automotive industry is currently seeking a Software Test Engineer. Your primary focus will be software testing and analysis for one of their development teams. You will collaborate with developers (C/C++/Simulink) and system designers.

Main Responsibilities:

• Define a test plan and develop test cases accordingly.
• Conduct testing in various environments, including HIL (Hardware-in-the-Loop), boxcar, and complete vehicle testing.
• Test both self-developed software and system-level functionalities.
• Manage multiple projects and releases, keeping track of what to test, when, and in which test environment.
• Shift between tasks such as verification, test development, and fault tracing as needed.
• Analyze fault reports to determine root causes and propose solutions.
• Document tests in CarWeaver.

Qualifications:

• Experience in A&V (Analysis & Verification).
• Knowledge of communication protocols like CAN, LIN, Ethernet.
• Proficiency with Vector tools such as CANoe & CANalyzer.
• Experience with Robot Framework, Zuul, XCP, and DLT logging.

Beneficial Qualifications:

• Proficiency in C++ and C.
• Experience with Simulink.
