Assignment Description

Our client in the automotive industry is currently seeking a DevOps Engineer for their Platform Observability Team. The client is making bold digital visions come true and aims to lead the automotive world by creating a digital ecosystem built around simplifying their customers’ lives. They are looking for curious, creative people who want to change the world through innovative thinking.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Play a key role in supporting the observability stack used by application teams.
  • Work according to agile and scrum principles.
  • Collaborate closely with application teams to ensure application reliability and performance.
  • Promote modern DevOps practices and support shared DevOps toolchains at an enterprise scale.
  • Engage in both development and operational work, including on-call duties once every 5th week.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
  • At least 3 years of experience as a DevOps Engineer.
  • Experience with Git version control.
  • Experience in integrating and supporting cloud-native observability tools like ElasticSearch/OpenSearch, InfluxData, and Azure Monitor.
  • Strong scripting and automation skills, with experience in Kubernetes, Terraform, and Python.
  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
  • Expertise in monitoring and alerting systems using ElasticStack, InfluxData, and Grafana.
  • Familiarity with working in a product-oriented organization focused on Team Objectives and OKRs.

Additional Information:

  • This assignment is on-site, requiring at least 3 days per week in our client’s office in Gothenburg.
