Assignment Description

Our client, a leading company in the automotive industry, is seeking a passionate Senior Full Stack Developer with expertise in C# and the .NET framework, as well as a strong interest in front-end development (preferably using React and TypeScript). You will join the Energy Efficiency & Weight Digital team within the Engineering department. This team is instrumental in driving automotive sustainability innovations and ensuring compliance with market regulations and legislation. They utilize modern tools and agile methodologies to continuously deliver business value while maintaining high quality and adaptability. The team also emphasizes a collaborative and enjoyable work environment.

The Energy Efficiency and Weight team plays a critical role in managing the vehicle’s energy consumption and weight, both of which are vital to the business. The team’s applications are built on a modern cloud platform using Microsoft Azure. Some of these applications are under development, while others are in production and actively used by stakeholders. The team operates in an agile manner, supporting both development and operations (DevOps). Energy efficiency is a key focus for our client as they strive to become a climate-neutral company by 2040. The team works closely with the Sustainability team to achieve the company’s ambitious targets.

In this role, you will primarily focus on weight management, an area that supports the continuous development of lightweight and desirable automotive products.

• Experienced developer with a strong background in microservices architecture.
• Passionate about your work with a keen interest in staying current with best practices.
• Knowledgeable about sound engineering practices such as continuous delivery and automated testing to ensure production-ready code every day.
• Skilled in crafting clean code and experienced with modern infrastructure and tools.
• Comfortable mentoring and leading peers, with a strong problem-solving mindset.
• Experienced in agile software development methods like Scrum.
• Adept at collaborating directly with end-users to develop new functions and features.
• Emphasizes high code quality and comprehensive test coverage.
• Proficient in .NET, C#, React, Azure cloud services, and Git.
• Advanced experience in cloud services and setting up CI/CD pipelines.
