Assignment Description

Our client in the automotive industry is currently seeking a Design Engineer.

The EDS team 94145 is responsible for several different low-voltage harnesses within the Engine Bay, Underbody, and Power Pack areas. They are looking for a design engineer to join their team who has experience in harness design. The design engineers are responsible for their wire harness designs from the concept phase to the final product (build to print).

Main Responsibilities:

• Collaborate closely with suppliers and internal stakeholders, including manufacturing engineers, mechanical integration, electrical design, attributes, and internal teams within the department.
• Manage change management processes related to wire harness design.

Preferred Tools and Competencies:

• Proficiency in Teamcenter.
• Experience with Catia V5.
• Strong electrical background.
