Assignment Description:
Our client in the automotive industry is currently seeking a Test Engineer – Team Function and Control.
Function & Control is responsible for the development of all seat functions. This includes designing, developing, and delivering both software and mechanical functionality for control modules, both in-house and in collaboration with suppliers.
Responsibilities:
- Actively define the Test Strategy, Test Plans, Test Methods, Test Execution, and Test Automation for Continuous Integration.
- Analyze logs (e.g., DSA, Vector CANoe) and contribute to fault reports.
- Collaborate with internal team members and external suppliers to gather implementation information, review test results, and assess documentation.
- Utilize Test Vehicles, HIL (Hardware-in-the-Loop), or test bench setups, depending on the most appropriate test environment for each project.
- Be primarily responsible for following up on customer and field issues, analyzing them, and driving them to resolution for all previous car programs on the market.
Required Qualifications:
- Experience with CAN, CANFD, and LIN protocols, and the Vector tool chain for testing and verification.
- Strong understanding of Test/Verification processes and methodologies.
- Knowledge of System Safety (ISO26262) and Cybersecurity (ISO21434) standards.
- Experience with Python/CAPL scripting for automating tests and building Bench setups/HIL.
- Valid driver’s license (B).
- Fluent in English (both written and spoken).
- At least 5 years of experience in testing embedded systems.
Additional Qualifications:
- Experience analyzing diagnostic events and services.
- Familiarity with AUTOSAR diagnostic modules and bootloaders.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work well in a team.
- Knowledge of basic electronics and electrical hardware circuits.
- Understanding of vehicle networking (e.g., CAN, CAN FD, LIN).
