Assignment Description

Our client in the automotive industry is currently seeking a DevOps Engineer for their Platform Observability Team. This assignment is on-site with at least three days per week at our client’s office in Gothenburg.

You will be part of their Developer Experience organization, with the mission to create a great developer experience by providing platform products that support high performance and productivity for their software engineers. For them, every software engineer and team in the organization is a potential customer, and they are obsessed with understanding their customers and helping them to be successful and productive.

Main Responsibilities:

• Support the observability stack used by application teams.
• Work closely with application teams to ensure application reliability and performance.
• Promote modern DevOps practices and support shared DevOps toolchains at an enterprise scale.
• Participate in development and operational work, including on-call duties once every 5th week.
• Collaborate according to agile and scrum principles.

Qualifications:

• Experience integrating and supporting cloud-native observability tools like ElasticSearch/OpenSearch, InfluxData, and Azure Monitor.
• Hands-on experience with problem-solving and debugging.
• Strong communication and writing skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Familiarity with working in a product-oriented organization focused on Team Objectives and OKRs.
• Strong scripting and automation skills, particularly with Kubernetes, Terraform, and Python.
• Experience working closely with application teams to integrate observability tools into the software development life cycle.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
• At least 3 years of experience as a DevOps Engineer, including work with Git Version Control.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
